What Does All Risk Insurance Cover?
Our policy ensures your belongings are covered from the moment they are collected until they reach your new destination.
✅ Cover starts when our professional packers or carriers uplift goods at your residence.
✅ It continues during transit, including up to 30 days in the carrier’s warehouse.
✅ It terminates on delivery at your destination OR after 60 days in storage at a recognized facility.
This ensures you’re protected whether moving locally or long distance, with additional cover during short-term storage.
Key Features of Cover
🔒 Liability Protection – Covers the value of lost or damaged items (part of a set covered only by the value of the part, not the whole).
🛋️ Antiques & Special Items – Covered for reasonable repair costs (professional valuations required; depreciation excluded).
⚙️ Mechanical & Electrical Items – Cover up to R20,000 per item, with a premium of R100 per item.
📋 Indemnification – Insured must take reasonable steps to minimize loss and protect rights against carriers or third parties.
💰 Excess – Claims are subject to a R1,000 excess per item.
🔁 Replacement or Repair – Insurers may reinstate, replace, or repair instead of paying cash.
Exclusions (Not Covered)

Claims Procedure
Report any loss or damage immediately to your broker or insurer.
Claims must be lodged within 30 days of delivery.
Failure to notify within this period may void coverage.
